(BIVN) – Hawaiian beneficiary Iokepa Kaolulo Kaeo delivered a scathing public testimony to the Hawaiian Homes Commission on Monday.
Kaeo touched upon what he called Chair William Ailā’s “pitiful, sneaky” appointment to lead the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to start. He also hit upon the hot-button issues of the Humuʻula cattle removal contract, and a recent concern over the sale of lands in Piʻihonua.
Big Island Video News will be featuring other public testimony given at Monday’s Department of Hawaiian Home Lands meeting in Waimea.
