(BIVN) – Kona residents filled the West Hawaii Civic Center on Wednesday for a government-organized informational meeting on ash and vog.
In the weeks following the new eruption of Kilauea, West Hawaii has been suffering under a cloud of volcanic emissions. Residents say they feel emergency officials have not taken the situation seriously enough. During the meeting, residents told officials they want better communication with government agencies in terms of emergency messaging and information.
The full meeting was recorded by Na Leo TV and can be viewed on demand through the Na Leo TV website.
