(BIVN) – The second group to take the stage during Wednesday’s Merrie Monarch Festival Ho‘ike was Halau ‘O Kamuela Iapana under the direction of co-kumu hula Kau‘ionalani Kamana‘o, Kunewa Mook and Ako Kubota.

The wahine of varying age groups built towards a thrilling finish that featured the vocals of Kekuhi Kanahele and Kaumakaiwa Kanaka‘ole and had the Edith Kanaka‘ole Stadium crowd out of their seats.
