(BIVN) – The Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority could get funds this year from the state legislature for a couple of projects in Kona.
A House Bill that would allow NELHA to establish a microgrid demonstration project for the generation, storage, and distribution of renewable energy is moving along at the state legislature.

Authorizes the establishment of a Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority (NELHA) microgrid demonstration project for the generation, storage, and distribution of renewable energy on property controlled by NELHA. (HB2460 HD2)
