(BIVN) – Mayor Harry Kim testified at an informational briefing on homeless solutions before the State House of Representatives Health & Human Services Committee on Tuesday, January 9.
Kim made the rare trip to Oahu in order to share his views on the growing disparity between the “haves and the have nots” at the State Capitol.
The briefing focused on the health and human services area relating to homelessness and consensus building and solution seeking through collaboration, lawmakers said, and aimed to “identify methods and programs that efficiently and effectively address and reduce homelessness.”
