(BIVN) – The Christmas trees have arrived.
In Hilo, folks can already start their holiday decorating by purchasing a tree from one of the participating stores.
Once again, the Hilo Y’s Men and Women Service Club have set up their temporary sales tent in the parking lot of the Ben Franklin building. The trees have been imported from Washington.
We spoke to Lance Niimi, who said that although the pre-sale pick-up occurred Tuesday and Wednesday, the general sale begins on Friday. Niimi said the pre-sale was the best yet for the club. Proceeds from the sale are used to support the Hilo Y’s Men and Women Service Club and their projects.
