(BIVN) – Jobie Masagatani, the Chair of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, joined Governor David Ige for a Facebook livestream on Tuesday. One of the topics of discussion was the Subsistence Agricultural Homestead Community being planned for Honomū.
DHHL has invited the first 500 beneficiaries on the Hawai‘i Island agriculture wait list to participate in the process of developing a conceptual plan for the 766 acres of Honomū lands. The subsistence ag opportunity will be a first-of-its-kind.
