- One man is dead after a Friday morning (6:11 a.m.) house fire on Oluolu Street in Kailua-Kona, fire officials report.
- An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death and to positively identify the victim, Hawaii County Police say.
- The blaze fully engulfed the four-bedroom, two-story home. The cause of the fire is under investigation but appears to have started downstairs, firefighters say.
- No other surrounding homes were damaged.
