(BIVN) – A plan for a county park in Puna’s Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision is moving forward.
Puna councilwoman Eileen O’Hara introduced a resolution that would have extended the deadline to complete a master plan for the park, or else ownership of the parcel would revert back to the HPP Owners Association.
At the November 1 meeting, the Department of Parks and Recreation assured the Hawaii County Council Finance Committee that planning would be complete before the deadline in early 2018.
O’Hara withdrew the resolution.
