(BIVN) – On Saturday in Waimea, the Maunakea Observatories hosted the annual Solar System Walk through town from 10 in the morning until 2.
The free event welcomed families to observe the planets in a scale model of the solar system, set up from Keck Observatories to Canada-France-Hawai’i Telescope headquarters.
Given the season, a costume contest with prizes was also held at the end of the event.
