HILO, Hawaii - Over $385,000 will spent on replacing the "obsolete" taser models currently being used by Hawaii County officers.

(BIVN) – On October 4, the Hawaii County Council voted to authorizes a five-year lease for new Tasers to be used by the Police Department. The cost of the new equipment would be over $385,000, and would replace obsolete models used by Hawaii County officers.
