(BIVN) – Deborah Ward, one of the original petitioners to challenge the University of Hawaii’s conservation district use application that would allow the Thirty Meter Telescope to be built on Mauna Kea, delivered her final argument and rebuttal during Wednesday’s land board meeting in Hilo.
The day-long hearing concluded with no decision on the UH application for the CDUP. The Hawaii Board of Land and Natural Resources will issue its decision at a later date.
