(BIVN) – On May 3, the non-profit ‘O Kaʻū Kākou was awarded a grant from the Hawaii County Council in support of creating an informational kiosk at Manukā State Wayside Park.
The kiosk is part of the Kaʻū Scenic Byway effort. Members of the byway committee testified in support of the resolution.
Councilwoman Maile David gave $1,500 from her contigency relief account for the design and installation of the kiosk.
