PAHOA, Hawaii – The first in a series of political forums hosted by the Arts and Sciences Center in Pahoa was held on Monday night at the Hawaii Academy of Arts & Sciences.
The three state senate candidates for Puna’s district 2 seat, Sen. Russell Ruderman, and Councilman Greggor Ilagan (both Democrats) and Libertarian Fred Fogel participated.
It was a unique format. The public was invited to write down questions and place sticky dots by the ones they wanted to have answered by candidates.
