KEA’AU, Hawaii – The Puna District Interfaith Memorial Day Observance was held on Saturday. The annual event, hosted by the Puna Hongwanji Mission, honors the fallen soldiers with flower presentations by organizations and families of servicemen Killed in Action.
Clifford Furukado served as the master of ceremonies, while the keynote speaker was State House Representative Richard Onishi.
