HILO, Hawaii – Thousands lined Downtown Hilo roadways to see the beautifully adorned halau, pa’u riders, royal court and marching bands participating in the Merrie Monarch Royal Parade. The parade started and ended on Pauahi St. and traversed Kilauea Avenue, Keawe Street, Waiānuenue Avenue, and Kamehameha Avenue.
