HAWAII ISLAND – Democratic Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders soundly defeated Hillary Clinton in Hawaii’s March 26 party caucus. On Hawaii Island, voters surged to their district caucus locations in strong support for Sanders. The Big Island went with the Vermont Senator in a landslide 5,605 votes to Clinton’s 1,639. Sanders won every single precinct in each of the seven districts.
