VOLCANO: A magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred 9 miles south of Volcano at 10:21 a.m. on Monday. The temblor was within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park at a depth of nearly 5 miles. Weak shaking was reportedly felt in Hilo and South Kona.

HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK, Hawaii – A magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred 9 miles south of Volcano at 10:21 a.m. on Monday. The temblor was within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park at a depth of nearly 5 miles. Weak shaking was reportedly felt in Hilo and South Kona.

The quake did not generate a tsunami.
