ʻO KAʻŪ KAKOU COMMENDED
- ʻO Kaʻū Kakou was honored by the Hawaii County Council on July 24. The non-profit was presented a certificate by Ka’u Councilmember Maile David commemorating all the work they do for their community. (audio from council discussion above)
- During the same meeting, Councilmember David also introduced a resolution (Res. 214-15) to transfer $15,000 in Contingency Relief funds to be used for a grant to ʻO Kaʻū Kakou for “community engagement and outreach activities that promote agricultural tourism.” (audio from council discussion above)
