MOUNTAIN VIEW, Hawaii – The owners of the Hilo Coffee Mill are still shaken in the aftermath of a brazen June 10th burglary that was caught on surveillance video.
Big Island Video News spoke to co-owner Jeannette Baysa this week about the incident. Baysa describes how the thieves took the Hilo Coffee Mill van, industrial lawn mower and all-terrain vehicle in the early morning raid.
The van was recovered. Hawaii Island police are asking the public’s help in locating the stolen ATV. According to HPD:
It is described as a Kawasaki 750 “Brute Force” in green camouflage-type paint.
Police ask anyone with any information about this burglary or suspicious parties selling a used ATV matching this description to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
