LAUPAHOEHOE, Hawaii – The third of four TMT & Maunakea: Common Ground talks was held Tuesday night at the Laupahoehoe Public Charter School cafeteria. The discussions are organized by the Hilo-Hamakua Community Development Corporation in order to “bring more information to the community that it serves (from north of the singing bridge in Hilo to Waipi`o Valley) so that people can make informed decisions about the TMT.”
The third speaker was Paul Brewbaker, the principal of Hawaii-based economics consulting firm TZ Economics. He spoke about the economic relationship of the TMT project to the island.
The final Common Ground meeting will be Tuesday June 9, again at Laupahoehoe school.
