HILO, Hawaii – Democrat David Ige, Republican Duke Aiona, and Independent candidate Mufi Hannemann recently took part in a candidate forum held in Hilo.
The event took place at Sangha Hall and was sponsored by the Hawai‘i Island Chamber of Commerce, Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Hawaii, Hawaii Island REALTORS®, Hawaii Island Contractors’ Association, Kanoelehua Industrial Area Association, Hawaii Island Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and the Big Island Press Club. This public forum was open to the community free of charge. Sherry Bracken served as moderator.
