KOHALA COAST, Hawaii – A magnitude 3.5 earthquake shook 4 miles northwest if Waikoloa Village on Thursday.
The quake was felt over much of the Kohala area on the Big Island. The epicenter was over the water in Kawaihae Bay at a depth of 6.8 miles.
There were no reports of damage and no tsunami was generated.
