HONOLULU, Hawaii – Looks like PISCES, the Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems based in Hilo, is going to be getting some needed funding this legislative session.
Two bills have made it through the Senate Ways and Means Committee, the last committee stop for projects looking for money.
SB2584 will deliver $250,000 dollars for planetary sustainability technology demonstrations and university-based competitions.
SB2585 appropriates $1,300,000 for PISCES administration tasks, program initiatives, and the preliminary development of the research and development park.
