WAIMEA, Hawaii – Hawaii County Police have identified the driver killed in a Friday tanker crash on Kawaihae Road.
41 year old Amos K. Agliam of Hilo became the 24th traffic fatality this year when the tractor he was driving pulled off the road and rolled over, spilling diesel fuel across the highway. Police closed the road for hours.
From Hawaii County Police:
Police closed Kawaihae Road to all traffic that day at 2:26 p.m. It reopened at 8:42 p.m.
