Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating the robbery and auto theft that happened between midnight and 3 a.m. early Tuesday morning, August 20.
Police describe the attacker as a local male of an average height and weight, with medium-length dark hair and a “local accent.”
The stolen car is described as a blue 2005 Kia Optima four-door sedan, license plate ZAT 755.
