Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this email finds you and yours well in mind, body and spirit.
These are powerful times of transformation.
People everywhere are being challenged to becoming less fearful, more loving, authentic and whole.
I’m writing to also give you a summary of what has been happening with our kalo planting at the Kamehameha Statue in Hilo.
The main reason we have been doing “unauthorized” planting at the State Park is because we wanted to send a message of pono civil resistance to the powers that are entrusted with making social/political/economic decisions that impact all of our lives. For example, Kamehameha School/Bishop Estate has been leasing thousands of acres (said to be over 40,000 acres) to Monsanto the GMO/pesticide company. We did serve written notice to all of our HawaiI Island Council, as well as the DLNR and the State Parks division prior to our planting on 9/11/12.
Our leaders need to be encouraged for integrity, be well informed, as well as held accountable to We the People.
The so called “unauthorized” label is actually incorrect. The land directly under the statue is leased by the Kamehameha School Alumni Association from the State of Hawaii (DLNR, State Parks Division), which claims jurisdiction over all “ceded” lands.
This is not factual. There is no evidence of a legal treaty of annexation between the US and the Hawaiian Kingdom.
The Hawaiian Kingdom nation, and the sacred vine Kanaka families never ceded any of the crown lands to the United States. The legal title/stewardship of Hawaii’s crown lands (2 million acres) belong to the heirs of Kamehameha III, Kauikeauoli, who wrote and authorized The First Constitution of Hawaii, 1840. It is important to remember that Kauikeauoli, was the last of the sacred vine kings (see Kumulipo, Hawaii’s creation story). In his opening speech at the 1848 Hawaii Legislature, Kamehameha III said:
“A division of lands has been amicably effected between myself and my Konohikis, by means of which, our very embarrassing tenure has been simplified. I have set apart a certain number of lands to be the property of my chiefs and people, subject to such rules as you may adopt for their disposal. I have also reserved for myself a portion of lands (the crown lands now called “ceded”) which are to be retained as my private property, and to descend to my heirs forever.”
Mainstream history tells us that Kauikeauoli had no direct heirs. The Hawaiian people were facing genocide. In less than 100 years since first contact with the white man, over 90% of the Kanaka Maoli population were gone. The royals especially had to go underground, many secretly relocated to the North American continent. We have gathered much evidence to prove otherwise, and the sacred vine families have been reconnecting throughout Hawaii and especially in the Northwest US and Canada. The descendants of Kamehameha III are alive and well. They are the rightful title holders and stewards of the crown lands.
The family’s chosen spokesperson is living on Hawaii Island today. His name is Albert Haa Jr. and he is ready to share this important information with the world to help secure the land to its rightful owners…. The Great Kanaka Maoli Ohana, aka the Hawaiian People.
So our so planting has indeed been approved and blessed. We were granted permission by the true owners of the land, which is now under the false jurisdiction of the de-facto State of Hawaii. We call upon any and all courageous and truthful government representatives to publicly proclaim that the US actually does not have legal jurisdiction over Hawaii, and also to forward an official public inquiry/investigation into the Kauna/Probate of Naukana #463, the hidden and recently discovered will of the King.
In the meantime…
David Schlesinger, of BigIsland-BigIsland.com has asked Aloha Uprising to help spread the word about a unity event at the Kamehameha Statue on Monday, November 5, 2012. I’m grateful that he wants to do some serious collaboration, and I believe the time is way ripe for all truth/freedom individuals and groups to join hands and stand in solidarity, throughout Hawaii and the World. If not now, when? If not us, who?
If you agree, then please spread the word about this event and be there!!
