LAUPAHOEHOE, Hawaii: A brush fire that began shortly after noon on Wednesday in the forest reserve above Laupahoehoe continues to burn.
The Hawaii County Fire Department reports that about 20 acres are involved in the blaze. A Thursday morning report said a dozer was working on fire breaks to contain the fire.
The fire is in open land, and no evacuations have been ordered. The cause is unknown.
