SEAVIEW, Hawaii: The SPACE Performing Arts Center is letting the public know that they are continuing approved activities, including the weekly Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, at their Seaview facility.
On May 3rd, SPACE faced a possible special permit revocation before the Windward Planning Commission. The organization was granted another six months to complete an ammended special use permit.
In the meantime, SPACE is moving forward with a full of slate of activity.
This summer, SPACE will be the location for two Hiccup Circus summer camps for kids ages 7 and up. The camps will be from June 4th – 8th and June 11th – 15th. The theme of the camps will be “Our Earth”, and will be directed by Graham Ellis, the founder of the Hiccup Circus. Instructors will be Dave Rave and Susan Mielke, both professional circus performers. Tuition is $225 per week and some partial scholarships are available if registering by May 30th.
