KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii: The dates are set for the Hawaii Air Show Invitational on Memorial Day weekend 2012 at the Kona International Airport.
Terri Thomas, the organizer of the first ever air show on Hawaii Island, confirmed the dates to Sherry Bracken of lava105 fm and the Big Island News Center.
Organizers were pretty confident that they would return last year, when they did this interview with local media.
The lineups for the show have not yet been released, but the 2011 airshow featured stunt pilots and military planes, and a chance for folks to get hands on with various displays.
