VOLCANO VILLAGE, Hawaii: Senator Gil Kahele held a talk story in Volcano Village on Wednesday, the first of five planned for around senate district 2.
The freshman State Senator, appointed to the position by Governor Neil Abercrombie when former senator Russel Kokobun resigned, is using these forums to hear the concerns of his constituents as well as help him prepare for the upcoming 27th Legislative session in January.
Here is a quick look at the other forums planned for the district, which stretches from South Kona, through Ka’u, into Hilo and Puna.
