Community Message | Dept. of Environmental Management via District 7 council office
The Department of Environmental Management is giving special latitude to residents, and community members who have been affected by the recent tsunami. You may dispose of trash, debris, and demolition materials at the Ke’ei Transfer Station only on Tuesday, and Friday from 6 am – 6 pm. Demolition materials from houses are allowed provided that all debris is 4 ft or less in length and width. Anything bigger than this will jam in the chute, and will break the equipment. Bigger items such as bed frames, bulky items, or items that are bigger than 4 ft should be taken to the Pu’anahulu Landfill. Please do not abuse this special latitude given by the Department of the Environmental Management. This special arrangement is only for the Ke’ei Transfer Station. We thank you for your understanding on this issue.
