The Driver License office at the Waimea Police Station will be closed until November 10, 2010, due to construction work at the Police Station. Work crews are replacing floor tiles in the Driver License Section with asbestos-free tiles.

The Driver License office at the Waimea Police Station will be closed until November 10, 2010, due to construction work at the Police Station.
The staff apologizes for the short notice as the temporary closure schedule for the construction work was adjusted due to the impact of the work. For the safety of the public and employees, the office is being temporarily closed while work crews remove floor tiles in the Driver License Section that contain some asbestos and replace them with asbestos-free tiles.
Residents may have their driver license transactions completed at our offices in Kona at 75-5722 Hanama Place, Kailua-Kona, or at our Hilo office at the Police Station 349 Kapiolani Street.
