Police say a man wanted in connection with a Hilo home break in on October 18th — Seth Stellar — turned himself into detectives without incident on Monday A 69-year-old woman reported that she awoke early Monday morning (October 18) to find a man in her Waiakea Uka home. She confronted the suspect, who was able to run from her and exit the house, leaving the area on foot. The victim was unharmed in the incident.
Police charged Stellar with first degree burglary., wer eholding him on $25,000 bail. Until his court date at the the South Hilo District Court.
PRESS RELEASE, Hawaii County Police:
Seth Stellar turned himself into detectives without incident on Monday (October 25) and was charged later that afternoon with first degree burglary.
A 69-year-old woman reported that she awoke early Monday morning (October 18) to find a man in her Waiakea Uka home. She confronted the suspect, who was able to run from her and exit the house, leaving the area on foot. The victim was unharmed in the incident.
Stellar is being held at the Hilo Police Station Cellblock in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to make his initial court appearance relative to this charge on Tuesday afternoon (October 26) at the South Hilo District Court.
