One of the most anticipated shorecasting tournaments in all of Hawaii, the 2010 S. Tokunaga Ulua Challenge, held its weigh-in at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium on Sunday.
Anglers from across the state hauled in their catch to see who reeled in the biggest ulua and the biggest omilu.
Max Pajo took top honors, as the ulua he caught tipped the scales at 113.5 lbs. The photo of the winning catch is courtesy S. Tokunaga Store, which can be found on the Hilo fishing store’s popular Facebook page.
