The diverse culture of the Philippines was on display at the Wailoa Center in Hilo.
The in depth exhibit “Habi at Baro” opened with costumed fanfare on Saturday.
Project director Iris Viacrusis led a crowd through the gallery containing hundreds of artifacts from over 20 different Filipino tribes.
The occasion was also celebrated with traditional dancing.
The “Habi at Baro” exhibit runs through May 26.
