(BIVN) – It was another night of public back and forth between government officials and Puna residents impacted by the eruption of Kilauea Volcano.
After a one week hiatus due to the threat from passing Hurricane Hector, the weekly meeting at the Pahoa High School cafeteria was held again Tuesday night. Once again, the meeting featured a lengthy question and answer session. The public took the opportunity to express their ongoing frustrations regarding evacuation zones, access, and county policy-making that did not include community input.
