(BIVN) – Hamakua residents attended a political forum at the Honoka‘a People’s Theater on Monday evening, which featured candidates for State House and State Senate.
State Senator Lorraine Inouye sat beside her challenger, Heather Kimball, as the two discussed their priorities for the District 4 state senate seat. State Representative Mark Nakashima and his challenger, Koohan Paik-Mander, talked about the issues affecting State House District 1.
The event was sponsored by Hamakua Resistance, the Honoka’a Business Association, and the District 1 Democrats.
