(BIVN) – Kealoha Pisciotta, on behalf of Mauna Kea Anaina Hou, made her final presentation to the Hawaii Board of Land and Natural Resources in the TMT contested case hearing on Wednesday in Hilo.
Pisciotta is one of the original petitioners to challenge the University of Hawaii’s conservation district use application that would allow the Thirty Meter Telescope to be built on Mauna Kea.
The day-long hearing concluded with no decision on the University of Hawaii’s application for the conservation district use permit that would allow the TMT to be built on Mauna Kea. The BLNR will issue its decision at a later date.
