(BIVN) – Mayor Harry kim sat down with Sherry Bracken to discuss a variety of topics, including the county response to the homeless situation.
In Kailua-Kona, the county recently set up a temporary tent city, informally dubbed Camp Kikaha, in assist displaced homeless who were camping out at Old Airport Beach Park. The mayor hopes the effort will serve as a model that will inform an overall approach to homelessness on the island.
