(BIVN) – A community forum to discuss roads with State and County officials will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 in Puna.
State Representative Joy San Buenaventura will host the meeting, set for 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Hawaiian Paradise Park Activity Center (15-1570 Makuu Dr)
The panel will include representatives from the Department of Transportation, Hawaii County Council, and the Hawaii County Department of Public Works.
“Panelists will speak about the condition of roads in Puna and provide progress updates for highway 130 and other roads,” officials say. “The event is free and open to the public with seating space assigned on a first come basis.”
