HILO, Hawaii – On October 12, East Hawaii had a chance to speak out on the draft of the 2017-2027 Hawaii Interagency Biosecurity Plan for the State of Hawaii during a hearing held at the Hilo High School Cafeteria.
The Hawaii Department of Agriculture held hearings across the islands to get feedback on the plan that includes coordinated strategies involving several agencies and partners to help increase the state’s biosecurity and protect Hawaii from invasive species.
