KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii – Race organizers are providing some compelling images from the first leg of the 38th annual IRONMAN® World Championship.
Earlier today, triathletes from around the world filled the ocean by Kailua Pier to embark on a 2.4-mile open-water swim before transitioning to the next stage; the 112 mile bike ride.
