NEWS BRIEF
- For the first time, Mayor Billy Kenoi testified on the petition filed by the National Park Service for a Ground Water Management Area Designation at the Keauhou Aquifer System Area in North Kona. Addressing the Commission on Water Resource Management directly during a special hearing in Kealakehe on Hawaii Island, the mayor explained why he and the County of Hawaii oppose the designation at this time.
